I’m Yulia, a cinematic lifestyle & documentary wedding photographer drawn to real stories and raw emotions. My work is about capturing honest moments as they naturally unfold : movement, connection, and truth , rather than stiff poses or anything that feels forced. I believe the most powerful images are the ones that reflect how it truly felt to be there, in that exact moment. I bring in subtle editorial guidance, gently stepping in when needed while still allowing space for authenticity to shine through. I hail from Ukraine and originally graduated from music college as a choir conductor, vocalist, and pianist. Don’t worry , I don’t wave my arms around in the air ,but believe me, I can gather a family together for a group photo with ease. That background shaped the way I see the world: through rhythm, emotion, and harmony, all of which naturally flow into my photography today.
I moved to the Toon in 2019, and after the pandemic and the birth of my son, I realised my deep love for photography and storytelling. What started as a creative outlet quickly became something much more meaningful , a way to connect with people and preserve moments that matter. The rest, as they say, is history.
Nothing inspires me more than people’s feelings and relationships , even if it’s black and white, imperfect, or a little fuzzy. There’s beauty in the unpolished, in the in-between, in the moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. I’m obsessed with love stories because love is the first seed of the future, and I truly believe it’s one of the most important and unforgettable experiences in life.

I’m based in Newcastle upon Tyne and primarily capture moments around the North East, Northumberland, and nearby areas. For weddings, I’m happy to travel across the UK if needed.
Please note that travel expenses apply for shoots outside the Newcastle/Gateshead area. For weddings, if the location is more than 60 miles away, travel costs are charged both ways.

Booking me is simple! You can use the inquiry form on my website, and I’ll get in touch shortly after. Once we’ve discussed the details, I’ll set up your personal client portal where all your booking information will be organised.
To secure your date, a deposit and signed contract are required. This ensures your booking is confirmed and your special day is reserved.

If you need to reschedule a shoot due to health or unforeseen circumstances, I require at least 72 hours' notice. Please contact me via email to arrange a new date.
If you decide to cancel the shoot, please note that the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
