I’m Yulia, a documentary and cinematic lifestlye & wedding photographer drawn to real stories and raw emotions.
My work is about capturing honest moments as they naturally unfold , movement, connection, and truth, rather than stiff poses. I bring in subtle editorial guidance, blending storytelling with a touch of artistry and intention. I hail from Ukraine and graduated from music college as a choir conductor, vocalist and pianist. Don’t worry, I don’t wave my arms around in the air but believe me, I can gather a family together for a group photo with ease. I moved to the Toon in 2019 and after the pandemic and birth of my son, I realised her love for photography. The rest they say is history.
Nothing inspires me more than people’s feelings and relationships – even if it’s black and white and fuzzy. I’m obsessed with love stories because love is the first seed of the future and I believe it’s one of the best moments of your life. I’m all about showing people as they are.

I’m based in Newcastle upon Tyne and primarily capture moments around the North East, Northumberland, and nearby areas. For weddings, I’m happy to travel across the UK if needed.
Please note that travel expenses apply for shoots outside the Newcastle/Gateshead area. For weddings, if the location is more than 60 miles away, travel costs are charged both ways.

Booking me is simple! You can use the inquiry form on my website, and I’ll get in touch shortly after. Once we’ve discussed the details, I’ll set up your personal client portal where all your booking information will be organised.
To secure your date, a deposit and signed contract are required. This ensures your booking is confirmed and your special day is reserved.

If you need to reschedule a shoot due to health or unforeseen circumstances, I require at least 72 hours' notice. Please contact me via email to arrange a new date.
If you decide to cancel the shoot, please note that the deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances.
